  • 1984: Founding of Charollaise through the takeover of Fournier Mouillon
  • 1987: Commissioning of the heat treatment furnace and the sand reclamation unit (recycling rate of 90%)
  • 1989: Upgrade to melting units: two new induction furnaces, acquisition of a spectrometer]
  • 1996: Start of PARTISO 1 process for ISO 9002 certification
  • 1997: Acquisition and commissioning of second automated casting unit
  • 1998: First prize for environmentally friendly innovation awarded by the “House of the Environment” (Maison de l’Environnement) and the city of Chalon-sur-Saône
  • 1998: ISO 9002 certification awarded by BVQI
  • 2000: Installation of a dust extraction system for the melting furnaces
  • 2002: ISO 9001 certification: awarded in 2000 by BVQI
    – Acquisition of a blasting unit with accompanying filter dust extraction system
    – Acquisition of a storage silo for fine particles emitted by the dust extraction system
  • 2003: Acquisition of a third five-ton overhead travelling crane
  • 2004: Acquisition of a new deflection channel and sand regeneration unit (including a filter dust extraction system)
  • 2005: Acquisition of new medium-voltage installations (transformers and switchgears), acquisition of SolidWorks CAD software
  • 2006: Upgrade to heat treatment furnace
  • 2007: Acquisition of a sand mixer (20 t/h) for manually formed casts
  • 2010: ISO 9001:2008certification
  • 2012: Construction of a new 1,000 m² deburring and inspection building
  • 2013: Merger between Mathieu foundry, M2R (production factory) and Charollaise foundry to create a joint holding company
  • 2014: Acquisition of a new spark emission spectrometer
  • 2016: Acquisition of a ROMER index arm incl. 3D scanner and internal software
